105th Annual Convention well attended success - October 16-17, 2008
The Maryland Nurses Association's 105th Annual Convention was well attended with nearly 250 participants taking in the two-day event. The Annual Convention was held October 16 and 17, 2008 at the Maritime Institute Conference Center in Linthicum, Maryland.
Pat Noble, Executive Director of the Maryland Board of Nursing was the opening keynote speaker. In her remarks, Pat Noble predicted that there would be changes in the future of nursing.

Sister Rosemary Donley, PhD, APRN. BC, FAAN was Friday's luncheon speaker. Her topic was "Why Leadership in Healthcare is Needed".

Jayne Hall, Director of Advertising Sales for the Arthur L. Davis Publishing Company, welcomes receipents of the scholarship award that is funded by the Arthur L. Davis Publishing Company.

Mae Muhr's daughter, Susan and husband, George look on as Foundation Treasurer Nayna Philipsen announce the winners of the scholarships in Mae's honor.

Board President, Rosemary Mortimer, presented flowers and gift certificates to MNA staff members, Marie Ciarpella and Pat Gwinn.
